Opening the Heart
In this all-levels class, we will explore opening the heart space in your physical body. Beginning with breath to create freedom in the ribs, we will work on proper alignment to make back bending not only safe, but enjoyable. We will focus on preparing the body physically through spinal, shoulder and hip mobility. Learning to open through the front body reduces lower back and neck pain, realigns the spine and promotes proper kidney function, among many other benefits.
Robin is a certified yoga teacher and avid acroyoga practitioner based in Seattle, WA. She discovered early in her practice that breath with body movement can release the stresses of daily life, and deeply weaves them into her classes. Her use of creative, alignment-based sequencing provides a safe space for her students to let go of the outside world and heal the body from the inside out.You can find her teaching locally in Seattle as well as leading retreats and workshops across the country and internationally.
